But faith is in no sense allied to presumption. Only he who has true faith is secure against presumption. For presumption is Satan's counterfeit of faith. Faith claims God's promises, and brings forth fruit in obedience. Presumption also claims the promises, but uses them as Satan did, to excuse transgression. DA 126.

As members of God's family and members of South Central Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, we welcome all to our site. Faith Temple is located in small town Batesville, Mississippi which is in Panola County of north Mississippi and is nestled in the arms of Christ. As we embark upon the great commission given in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo I am with you alway, even until the end of the world. Amen."
With sister churches located in Tunica and Clarksdale, Mississippi and under the leadership of “The Bible Patrolman” Pastor Mark Hyde who emphasizes "Nothing But The TRUTH ", our congregations is a diversified body of believers bound together by Biblical principles, precepts, and wisdom. Our teachings come directly from the Word of God and stand firm as the foundation of our faith and are broadcasted every Sunday on 100.5 FM @ 9:30 AM and 95.5 FM @ 7:30 PM. WE ARE FAMILY. Though humble in number, we have enormous hearts that reach out to our members and community. Where there is God there is Love, where there is Love there is Family, and where there is family, there is hope.
